CHEM - 2510 Organic Chemistry I

Prerequisite(s): Complete CHEM-1090 with a grade of C or higher.
Co-requisite(s): CHEM-2510L
This course includes the topics of structure and properties of carbon compounds, including acid-based chemistry as it relates to organic chemistry, and the classification of organic molecules by functional groups, structures, nomenclature, properties, stereochemistry, radicals, substitution, and elimination reactions. Spectroscopy may also be covered.
