HIMS - 2100L Coding I Lab

Prerequisite(s): HIMS-2000
Co-requisite(s): BIOS-1160 or LPNR-1110; HIMS-2100 , HLTH-1060, or instructor consent
This course will begin exploration of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems and their use in various data collection schemes. Student will apply ICD-10-CM coding principles to various exercises and practice health records in a lab setting.
