HLTH - 2190 Medication Aide

Prerequisite(s): A. Completion of a basic nursing assistant course

B. Be at least 18 years of age to practice as a Medication Aide
This course is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to administer medications in the state of Nebraska, in the role of Medication Aide. The curriculum meets the minimum basic requirements for administering medication and pharmacology. Upon successful completion of the course, the student is eligible to register for the state medication aide exam in Nebraska.
