This is a new program at WNCC. It has been submitted to the accreditor and is pending HLC and U.S. Department of Education approval.
PSA.4603A (12 Credits) - Electrical
The Construction Technology (CNST) program is designed to prepare students to enter residential and light commercial construction trades. Four professional skills awards, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) are available. Individual awards are comprised of courses that provide the student with basic knowledge, theory, and hands-on training in each of the sub-areas. PSAs build toward the Construction Technology AAS. Upon successful completion of the individual PSAs and/or AAS program, students are prepared to begin careers working within the trade, and when combined, in the broader area of residential and light-commercial construction trades.
Four (4) specialized skills awards are offered as part of the Construction Technology program. Each award is designed as a stand-alone award and can be combined to fulfill the requirements of the Construction Technology AAS degree.
