EMSP - 2050 Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Airway Management Co-requisite(s): EMSP-2000 , EMSP-2100 , and EMSP-2400 This is the second of eight lecture courses designed for students with an EMT license who wish to progress to the paramedic level of practice. The course provides learning experiences to develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and professionalism expected of the entry-level paramedic. Course content will focus on pathophysiology, emergency pharmacology, intravenous access and medication administration, and airway management and ventilation.
