CNST - 2651 Trenching, Excavation, and Rigging

Pre- or Co-requisite(s): CNST - 1600, CNST - 1610, CNST - 1611, CNST - 2610, and CNST - 2611, or equivalent experience
This course provides fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in trenching, excavation, and rigging practices. Instruction includes equipment identification and operation, signaling communication protocols, and proper use of protective systems to prevent cave-ins and other job site hazards. The course also introduces basic rigging principles, including load calculations, hardware inspection, and safe hoisting procedures.
