BIOS - 2120 Genetics Prerequisite(s): BIOS-1010 and BIOS-1010L or BIOS-2250 and BIOS-2250L Co-requisite(s): BIOS-2120L This course is a study of inheritance patterns, gene composition, variations, and action. Mechanisms of transmission, molecular genetics, and population genetics are covered. Practical applications in medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology and hands-on laboratory experience with plants, animals, microbes, and electrophoresis are provided.
