CRIM - 2000 Criminal Law Prerequisite(s): ENGL-0065 , ENGL-0070 , or ACCUPLACER®(or other appropriate placement exam) This course outlines the purpose and function of criminal law. Topics include, but are not limited to, the rights and duties of citizens and police in relation to local, state, and federal law (i.e., arrest, search and seizure, confessions); the development, application, and enforcement of laws, constitutional issues, and sentencing.
